Crescent
Crescent is the original "withdrawing room" of the townhouse built during the Regency period and much of it remains today as it was two hundred years ago. The original frames of the "wedding doors" stand at the entrance, the high ceiling retains the gorgeous plasterwork rose and, to the left, two built-in arches still remain. With a view to the rear of the house you can gaze across to the Recreation Ground, the home of Bath Rugby, one of the most famous in the country. To retain as many of the original features as possible and to comply with listed buildings requirements, a pod bathroom has been tastefully built into the corner of the room.
